As a Lebanese actress, singer, and model, Cyrine Abdelnour clearly has a lot to offer. She got her start as a model at a young age, but didn't become a child actress like many would suspect. Instead, she held off on acting and singing professionally until she was a little older, which likely made it easier for her to feel comfortable with the choices she was making in the entertainment industry. Growing Up with a Simple Life

Born in Abadiyeh, Lebanon, Abdelnour's mother was a nurse and her father was a tailor. The family is Greek Orthodox. Her childhood was pretty typical, without any show business ties or other issues that could have made things more interesting but also more difficult. Initially, Abdelnour studied accounting because it was what interested her. But once she became a teenager and started modeling, she dropped her accounting studies to pursue a modeling career full time. She has modeled for fashion designers such as Renato Balestra, Thierry Mugler, and Feliciana Rossi, among others. In 2002, in Beirut at the Regency Palace Hotel, she was awarded a "Model of the World" title.

She didn't start officially acting until 1998, when she had a role on Smaa Kchaa through the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation. She was also in Sahat Sahteen the following year. Those were her first notable roles, although she had a few smaller ones here and there before that time. In 2003 she became a star in the series Dareb Khwet, and won an award for that role. She starred in three other series from 2004 through 2010, making a name for herself in her home country and getting noticed throughout the world, as well. While Abdelnour has made some movies, she has primarly stuck to roles on TV. That has worked well for her personal life, as it allows her to stay close to home and meet the demands of both a career and a family life.

Singing and Cultivating a Personal Life

In 2004, Abdelnour released her first albumm. A second one was released in 2006, and a third one in 2009. While she did release a fourth album in 2013, it's not known whether she'll release more music in the future. Now, a lot of her focus is on her personal life. In 2007 she married a businessman, and they had a child in 2011. She gave birth to their second child in 2018. While Abdelnour is still very much focused on entertainment, she also has a husband and children who need her time and attention. She has been publicly criticized for celebrating Easter, and has talked openly about being a Christian. She says that one of the problems in the entertainment industry is that people don't talk openly about religion, which could foster healthy, important discussion.

Now that Abdelnour has young children to care for she isn't slowing down much in her TV career. She was in starring roles in 2012 through 2017, and again in 2019. Clearly, she can handle the responsibilities of a home life and a career with grace and ease, providing quality time for her family and enjoyment for her fans. What can fans expect from her next? That remains to be seen. But it's likely there will be more TV roles in her future. Most of her acting focus has been on television, and that seems to be the area where she's most popular and recognized by fans, as well.
