David Faustino was born on March 3, 1974, in Los Angeles, California. Faustino was born to Kay and Roger Faustino. Kay Faustino worked as a costume designer during Faustino's childhood, so that made it easy for him to transition into the acting world. Faustino was raised alongside his stepbrother, Jeff Leiber, and his younger brother, Michael. Both Jeff and Michael have carved out minor acting roles of their own with Michael even appearing on Married... with Children. David helped to co-write the project known as T*R*A*S*H.

Faustino would make his original television debut when he was only three months old. Faustino would appear on the Lily Tomlin Special. Despite his early entry into the acting world, Faustino would not become a regular performer until 1980. Despite growing up on the screen, not much is known about Faustino's private life as a child. With that being said, let's jump straight into his work in Hollywood.

Raised on Television

While David Faustino wouldn't become a big name in Hollywood until the late '80s, he actually made his debut in 1980 with an appearance in the TV movie, Act of Love. Faustino would follow that performance up with appearances on Little House on the Prairie (1980), And They All Lived Happily After (1981), and The Ordeal of Bill Carney (1981). Faustino would become a prolific working actor during the beginning of his career with almost thirty credits to his name before landing the coveted role of Bud Bundy on Married... with Children.

After landing the role of Bud, Faustino would perform on Married... with Children for a full decade, appearing in 259 episodes. During that time, Faustino became a notable celebrity and his performance as Bud would help him to gain more work. Faustino would later reprise the role of Bud in several projects, including Parker Lewis Can't Lose as well as Top of the Heap. Faustino performed Bud from the beginning of the series until its official end in 1997.

Following the end of Married... with Children, Bud would continue his work as a prolific character actor. He would appear in The New Addams Family (1999), Dirt Merchant (1999) and The X-Files (2002) before landing his second big role in the television series, The Help (2004). Other notable performances from this era of his career include Star-Ving (2009), Robodoc (2009), and Entourage (2009).  In the series Star-Ving, Faustino would play a highly exaggerated version of himself. Faustino wrote the series along with several of his close friends as a sort of 'anti-Entourage'. Faustino said of the project, "This is a very twisted take on what I've been through all these years." Faustino would later sign a deal with National Lampoon in order to perform in three films for the company.

Faustino would return to the cast of Married... with Children for a special showcase at the 7th Annual TV Land Awards presented by Dr. Phil. Faustino would follow that appearance up with several notable film roles including BustedNot Another B Movie, and Entourage: The Movie (2015). While Faustino continued to work on camera, he had begun to develop himself as a prolific voice actor. Some notable voice over roles include his work as Mako on The Legend of Korra (2012), Helia in Winx Club: Beyond Believix (2012), and Dragons: Riders of Berk (2013).

Most recently, Faustino has appeared in several low-budget television movies including Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens (2016), TMI Hollywood (2016), Saltwater (2016), and Atomic Shark (2016). Faustino is slated to appear in the television series Hollywould set for release at some point in 2020.

In his personal life, Faustino has spent time working in radio. He has his own show on the Dash Radio Network titled Old Scratch Radio. The program appears every Sunday on Skee 24/7. Faustino is currently dating Lindsay Bronson and the two have a daughter together named Ava Marie Faustino. Faustino has also established his own night club in Los Angeles which is named after his debut rap album, Balistyx. The club would end up closing in 1993.
