"Jazzy, let daddy tell you his goals. By 5, you'll be looking people in the eye when you firmly shake their hand. By 8, you'll know how to fish, drive daddy's pick up truck and do cardio. And by 10, you'll be able to directly say to people, "Great Job. I like it a lot, but let's see how we can make it better." Dwayne Johnson on his daughter, Jasmine.
Jasmine is the first child that Dwayne Johnson and Lauren Hashian have had together. Still just a couple of years old, Johnson has already begun to turn into a little superstar. Johnson has become a regular on the Instagram of her father where her cuteness helps every post to go viral. While Jasmine surely has great things ahead of her, at just three-years-old, she might still have a way to go! Fortunately, we can learn a little bit about Jasmine by learning about both of her parents.
Raised by the Rock
Jasmine Johnson came into this world on December 16, 2015. Jasmine is the first daughter shared between Lauren Hashian and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. Jasmine has two siblings in the household alongside her parents. Jasmine has an elder half-sister named Simone and a younger sister named Tiana. Simone Garcia Johnson was born via The Rock's first marriage to Dany Garcia.
Jasmine first made her 'debut' in an Instagram post on her father's account. At just four years old, Jasmine essentially vanished into her father's gigantic arms. Since then, Jasmine has become a regular on his father's social media account. Jasmine's photos and videos go viral anytime that her father posts them, including a famous video where the Rock tells Jasmine all about the value and strength that women have. Jasmine showcased her inner strength when she was rushed to the Hospital in 2018 for a mysterious reason. While her parents have not elaborated on the event, Jasmine appears to be in good health.
While it would be easy for Dwayne and Lauren to milk their child's adorable burgeoning celebrity, both parents have been careful about how they show their child to the world. Both Johnson and Hashian have been very measured in the exposure that their children get to the larger media world. With that being said, Jasmine just joined pre-school, so who knows how many media photos are going to start circulating.
A Famous Family
While Jasmine hasn't had much of a life yet, that doesn't mean that she is going to miss out on much when she grows up! Her parents have both become cornerstones of their industries and Johnson's prolific work ethic might mean that Jasmine never has to find her career. With that being said, if Jasmine is anything like her mom and dad, she'll definitely find her own niche.
Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson first met Lauren Hashian while on the set of The Game Plan in 2006. By the time that 2007 rolled around, Johnson and Hashian would be in a committed relationship. Lauren and Johnson would take part in a committed relationship for ten years before secretly tying the knot in 2019.
For his part, Dwayne Johnson has been a megastar for the majority of his adult life. Johnson first rose to fame as a professional wrestler for the World Wrestling Federation. His natural charisma coupled with his amazing physique helped the Rock to become one of the biggest names in sporting entertainment. His electric interviews soon became a calling card for the WWF and Vince McMahon would use the Rock's ability as much as possible while he was still under contract.
Eventually, Johnson decided to step away from wrestling in order to pursue a more serious career in acting. Johnson would make his feature film debut in a bit part of The Mummy Returns (2001) as the Scorpion King. Johnson's work was well-received and a sequel/spin-off would be greenlit for release in 2002 under the name, The Scorpion King (2002). Since that time, Johnson has worked tirelessly to become one of the most active and entertaining performers in the industry.
In the past decade, Johnson has elevated himself far beyond the action fare that most wrestlers end up falling in. Johnson has managed to become a true action star several franchises under his considerable belt. Johnson is the star of the growing Jumanji franchise which includes Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017) and Jumanji: The Next Level (2019). Johnson also helped to revitalize the fading Fast & the Furious franchise with a film-stealing role in Fast & Furious 5 (2011). Since his debut in the franchise, Johnson has appeared in four additional Furious films as well as his latest spin-off, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019). Johnson is slated to appear in a proverbial smorgasbord of films in the coming years. Some of Johnson's notable upcoming works include Black Adam, The King, San Andreas 2, and Big Trouble in Little China.
Jasmine might also take after her musically inclined mother, Lauren. Lauren Hashian is the daughter of Sib Hashian, the drummer for the rock group known as Boston. Lauren writes, produces, and records her own songs. She has also worked extensively with her own sister, Aja Hashian, on several collaborations. Lauren is also the place to go for up-to-the-minute Jasmine-related content as Lauren constantly keeps her Instagram page updated with photos of the family.
