When you are the daughter of the two most iconic country stars of all time, you'll end up feeling the pressure. Maggie McGraw is the daughter of world-renowned musicians Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. While her parents have set the country music world ablaze, Maggie has been less-than-interested in pursuing their path.

Notoriously off of the radar, Maggie McGraw is most well-known for appearing with her father at the CMT Awards in 2016. She has admitted repeatedly that she has no interest in pursuing a career as a professional musician. Despite her background, Maggie has insisted that she have a regular life by following her own path. Maggie McGraw likes to keep her name out of the headlines. As such, it can be hard to get to know the famous 20-year-old starlet.

Born to Country Royalty

Maggie McGraw was born on August 12, 1998 in Nashville, TN. Her mother is Faith Hill and her father is Tim McGraw. Both Faith and Tim have been performing in the country music sphere for decades, and they've established themselves as something akin to country music royalty.  Maggie has two other sisters, named Gracie and Audrey.  Maggie is the middle child of the trio with older sister Gracie recently turning 21 and younger sister Audrey turning 15. Tim McGraw says of his gaggle of daughters, "It's busy right now in my life." We bet that is an understatement!

Despite being born into a world of fame, Maggie has stayed almost impressively low profile. According to what little information makes its way to the internet, Maggie is disinterested in pursuing a career as a musician. At the time of her birth, her parents had been together for two years. Maggie does not currently have any public-facing social media accounts, nor does she do interviews or press for her family.

Carving Her Own Path

In 2016, Maggie McGraw would appear in an Instagram video on her mother's profile. In the video, Maggie was captured singing 'Bad Blood' by Taylor Swift. The video would go viral and fans of the family would begin to wonder when McGraw would release a record of her own. Despite her great voice, Maggie has continually staved off the idea of releasing any form of professional recording.

Instead of following her parent's footsteps, Maggie has been primarily focused on her education. After graduating from high school in 2016, Maggie would focus on pursuing higher education. Just because she was famous, it doesn't mean that she isn't smart! Maggie currently attends Stanford University where she is in pursuit of a degree in marine biology. According to her father, Maggie has always been fascinated by and in love with the ocean. Maggie is also interested in climate control. It is clear that Maggie has her eyes set on the natural world. Tim says of his daughter, "We'll see where it takes her, but that's always been her biggest interest."

After making her big splash at the Country Music Awards in 2016, Maggie would also attend the 2016 AMA's with her father. Tim and Maggie instantly went viral for being the most 'adorable' father-daughter duo in attendance of the event. In fact, Faith and Tim have been lauded for being incredible parents. Tim says of his daughters, "They're so individual, but they're all real close, and all real supportive of each other. They miss each other when they're not around."

While Maggie McGraw continues to make her own way in the world, she'll never be able to leave behind her worrying parents. Faith Hill says of her daughter, "You want to protect them; you want to make sure they aren't disappointed."  With that being said, Faith and Tim have been in agreement regarding how to raise their children. Hill has emphasized repeatedly to her daughters that they won't just get things handed to them due to their name. Hill went on to say, "You have to work for the things you want. They know it takes hard work. You don't just arrive."

Outside of the occasional public appearance at an award show or interview, Maggie McGraw has managed to stay completely off of the public radar. It appears that Maggie is okay pursuing her education while leaving the life of fame behind. However, fame is seemingly always lurking around the corner. As Maggie gets older, we wouldn't be surprised to hear that she has shown some interest in releasing music of her own. After all, if you were the child of two of country music's greatest stars, how could you not?
