“I haven't gone completely insane, but it might happen soon.” After years of being bullied by her classmates and deemed an outcast for her aggressive personality, Megan Fox knew there was something bigger and better beyond her life in Florida. By the age of 13, she was starting to envision a clearer picture of her future after winning a series of awards at the 1999 American Modeling and Talent Convention. Four years later, she put her plans into action, tested out of high school and moved to Los Angeles with the hopes of making it big as a model and actress.

Making her acting debut as a teen in the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen film Holiday in the Sun, Fox built her acting portfolio with appearances in series like What I Like About You and Two and a Half Men before she made her film debut in the 2004 flick Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Reprising her role in the Transformers sequel but refusing to work with the legendary director Michael Bay for the third film, Fox focused on a handful of other projects including the black comedy horror Jennifer’s Body and Jonah Hex, which was named the “worst picture of 2010.” Since then, the 30-year-old has done her best to rekindle her former star power and ensure her future as one of Hollywood’s hottest sex symbols but her priorities have certainly changed. In 2010, she married Beverly Hills, 90210 star Brian Austin Green with the hopes of juggling marriage and motherhood with life in the spotlight.

Over the years, the Tennessee native has undergone a bit of a transformation but, surprisingly enough, she hasn’t faced a lot of criticism like so many other celebrities who have gone under the knife. That isn’t to say, however, that she’s ready and willing to admit having any work done. Instead, she happily lets the rumors run wild and faces any criticism that she looks a bit “plastic” with the fact that she has a makeup team dedicated to ensuring she always looks her absolute best.

With critics arguing that Fox’s subtle transformation is certainly more than a few makeup tricks, the two biggest rumors surround Fox’s nose and her lips. Her nose appears to be a bit longer, slimmer and narrower at the tip than in earlier pictures, which leads many to believe that she had a rhinoplasty during the height of her fame between 2005 and 2010. Fox also has large, signature lips that have seemingly inflated in the last few years causing a flurry of filler injections and Botox rumors. But, the rumors don’t stop there.

People have also noticed that Fox’s cheeks and jawline are more defined as she ages, which has left many to take opposing sides as to what the Transformers star has had done. While some experts argue that Fox has simply had a few injections to tighten her cheeks, others claim that she’s taken a more invasive route and opted for complete bone reconstruction. Regardless, none of the rumors are extravagant or wild enough to ignite a response from Fox who lives by the mantra, “Mum is the word,” and refuses to acknowledge that she’s ever gone under the knife. In fact, she’s quick to prove otherwise.

In 2010, Fox was widely criticized for having breast implants or a breast augmentation but met the rumors head on when she announced she was pregnant. The same happened when new stories buzzed online that Fox had spent over $50,000 on Botox injections that left her face frozen and expressionless. To set the record straight, Fox took to Facebook where she posted pictures of her frowning and scrunching her forehead to show visible lines. She also wrote, “My lips are my lips. I would encourage anyone to first speak with a therapist, to try and figure out where this want comes from because a lot of time it’s not related to your nose or your chin—the surgery is not going to alleviate that insecurity for you.”

While many aren’t convinced that Fox is completely natural, it’s hard to confirm what she’s had done despite a few evident changes in her look. Some have chalked it up to aging leaving others to say that she’s likely had minor procedures like facial fillers and a nose refinement.
