New Star in Town

Nichole Bloom didn't find herself an overnight success, but she came pretty close! After graduating from USC, Bloom turned her attention toward acting as a career. Bloom would land a number of short film roles including the 2010 project, Everyday. Bloom would also appear in the 2011 short film, Carpool as Rachel. While these short films did nothing for her status, Bloom claims that they helped her to find her acting ability.

In 2012, Bloom would end up starring in the party film, Project X. The film centered on a group of friends who plan one last party in order to impress their high school before moving on to college. The film also starred Thomas Mann, Jonathan Daniel Brown, and Oliver Cooper. Similar to Animal HouseProject X was filled with mayhem and youthful vibes. The film was created on a $12 million budget and it would haul in more than $100 million at the box office.

After Project X was a hit, Bloom would find it significantly easier-going when it came to getting auditions. Bloom would land a two-episode arc in Teen Wolf (2014) before landing gigs on Grey's Anatomy (2014) and Shameless (2014). In Shameless, Bloom would play Amanda for 17 episodes. Bloom made her series debut in Season 4's premiere episode as a love interest for Lip. Since then, Amanda has become something of a fan-favorite despite having departed from the show in Season 6. The regular role was a significant step up for Bloom who had little actual acting experience outside of her recent success.

Following her success in Shameless, Bloom would turn her attention toward the small screen. Bloom would audition for the NBC sitcom Superstore as the character of Cheyenne. Bloom would end up winning the role and making her first appearance in the program in 2015. Bloom would cement herself as an upcoming star with 33 appearances as the star of the show. Superstore just got renewed which means that it will continue to air on NBC.

Back on the silver screen, Bloom has continued to find success with roles like Man Up (2015), Teenage Cocktail (2016), and Lazer Team 2 (2017). That final film, Lazer Team 2, was released on YouTube Red after being written, produced, and directed by Matt Hullum. Hullum's primary claim to fame is his portrayal of Sarge in the hit Rooster Teeth original machinima series, Red vs. Blue. The film received modest positive reviews while only making $20,000 during a limited theatrical screening. Bloom is currently slated to lend her voice to OK K.O.! Let's Be Heroes (2019).

Despite growing up with the internet, Nichole Bloom is fiercely secretive of her personal life. Even with her rising fame, Bloom has decided to keep as much to herself as possible. What we do know is that Bloom is close to her family, an avid social media user, and single at the time of this writing.
